iheartfaces photo challenge "Beautiful Eyes"

I haven't done one of these in a long time.  I just couldn't pass this one up though.  Beautiful eyes are pretty standard in our house.  My oldest and youngest have huge striking blue eyes.  They often take peoples breath away, and for good reason.   My middle child is my spunky, crazy one and she has eyes to match. I suppose that they could be called hazel, but the truth of the matter is they really can't decide what color they want to be.  They are rich and deep and wonderful, just like the girl they belong too.  I think they are some of the most beautiful eyes out there.

Beautiful Little "C"

I love new babies! "C" was a month old when we got together for her pictures. She was awake most of the shoot and I was very impressed by how calm she was. Her mommy and daddy are very lucky to have such a mellow little girl! I hope you are as charmed as I was!

I'm still here!!!

No really I am. With the move and this pregnancy things have been insane and I was taking a much needed break from photography for a while.

BUT....I am back now!

This week on iheartfaces the Challenge is "Dramatic Black and White." I have always loved this photograph of my nephew. He has such gorgeous eyes! I usually LOVE him in color because of those eyes, but this shot was perfection in black and white. Isn't that smile wonderful!

iheartfaces Focusing on Angles Challenge

This week on iheartfaces they are "Focusing on Angles" and my thoughts went immediately to this picture of Cadence. It was a "perfect moment" for me back in my early days of photography exploration. I was up on the couch looking for something different, called her name, and BAM!!! It is still one of my favorite pictures of her. :o)

This is one of my favorite pictures of my oldest daughter. She is an imp and it totally shows in her face in this picture. And despite the green grass in the background, it WAS cold that day.
